Obama is a famously corrupt politician where every aspect of his political career has been shady at best and outright fraudulent at worst. His past includes working with borderline criminal groups like ACORN, suing banks to provide subprime mortgages, running against another candidate who was forced to withdraw from the race, and other convenient “events”.

Obama’s style is often written off as “Chicago” politics. It’s not a secret, it’s not a conspiracy, and it’s a fairly common understanding of the man. He uses any influence he has to hurt people who go against him — and he uses his influence to help those who support him. “Green” energy companies enjoyed this, while the coal industry is struggling to even stay alive.

In the end, we’ve seen this play out over and over. The IRS attack, the Benghazi lies, and the AP phone scandal are all just more events proving the same basic pattern. The best explanation of this I’ve seen comes from a Wall Street Journal column by Kimberley Strassel, in which she explains that the IRS has long been used by Obama to target opponents.

Here’s an important example from the column:

Mr. VanderSloot is the Obama target who in 2011 made a sizable donation to a group supporting Mitt Romney. In April 2012, an Obama campaign website named and slurred eight Romney donors. It tarred Mr. VanderSloot as a “wealthy individual” with a “less-than-reputable record.” Other donors were described as having been “on the wrong side of the law.”

This was the Obama version of the phone call—put out to every government investigator (and liberal activist) in the land.

Twelve days later, a man working for a political opposition-research firm called an Idaho courthouse for Mr. VanderSloot’s divorce records. In June, the IRS informed Mr. VanderSloot and his wife of an audit of two years of their taxes. In July, the Department of Labor informed him of an audit of the guest workers on his Idaho cattle ranch. In September, the IRS informed him of a second audit, of one of his businesses. Mr. VanderSloot, who had never been audited before, was subject to three in the four months after Mr. Obama teed him up for such scrutiny.

The last of these audits was only concluded in recent weeks. Not one resulted in a fine or penalty. But Mr. VanderSloot has been waiting more than 20 months for a sizable refund and estimates his legal bills are $80,000. That figure doesn’t account for what the president’s vilification has done to his business and reputation.

The Obama call for scrutiny wasn’t a mistake; it was the president’s strategy—one pursued throughout 2012.

The Obama strategy is pretty simple. Scare people into being quiet. Scare people so they won’t challenge you. Then bulldoze over them and acquire more power. It’s how politics has worked since the dawn of the state, and Obama is just making good on that fact. This was a great column, and everyone should read the full text.

This simply wasn’t an isolated incident. People who challenge Obama routinely are audited out of the blue — it’s simply obvious at this point. Take this example, which we talked about earlier this week:

A news anchor has come out with evidence that he’s being targeted — or “hammered” to use his words — by the IRS. This started immediately after he publicly questioned Obama’s approach to the economy in an interview, which we’ve attached below. The corruption by the IRS and the Obama administration is so bad,liberal comedian Jon Stewart has even roasted Obama.

Larry Connors, from KMOV, posted on his Facebook page with the allegations. He thought it was a coincidence until realizing that the IRS has been targeting anyone who challenges the growth of tyranny in the US.

In the end, Obama’s plan — whether we can prove it in a court yet or not — has been pretty clear. The IRS is a political weapon being used to violate freedom of speech, of the press, of peaceable assembly, of the right to due process, and a plethora of other rights.

The IRS simply tried to rig the election… and then it got busted.

We already know that the Obama administration knew of the IRS targeting of the Tea Party 5 months before the election. Now we just need to prove the link to Obama, and it should be over — this is an impeachable, criminal offense, and justice must be done.
